Where the Red Fern Grows Wiki
Welcome to the 6th grade class Wiki. We will be using this site to work together on a project discussing the book Where the Red Fern Grows. Through our research, we will better understand the setting of this book, and its impact on the story.
Items to remember while using this site:
- You will be working with other group members, so your participation is vital to the success of your group. (Mrs. Johnson can see the amount you contribute to the group.)
- Correct grammar, spelling, and punctuation must be used. Treat this like a formal report that you are turning in.
- If you have questions or would like to share something you find with other members of the class, you can do this on Edmodo.com.
- Provide links to the sources you are using, whenever possible.
Do not read any other group's information until every group is done with the project. I want to see what YOU have found, and what YOU have researched. Not looking at other group's information will ensure that you won't plagiarize information from another group.
After we are finished researching, you will then read the other group's information and you will be required to know what they have found. There will be a short quiz about all the information shortly after the project has finished.
